Karissa Harrold

Karissa Harrold is from Oklahoma City and received her Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2023. She joined the El Sistema Oklahoma team in August of 2022 as a part-time Fundamentals teacher while finishing her degree. 

 

Karissa is a member of the Oklahoma Flute Society and plays recreationally in their Adult Flute Choir. She also teaches private flute lessons to middle and high school students throughout the OKC metro area. 

 

Karissa’s El Sistema responsibilities include conducting the Nueva Band and Alegria Orchestra, and teaching Fundamentals classes.
